The BLX/Orrick Webinar offers timely discussions of topics related to post-issuance compliance and tax law for the public finance and 501(c)(3) communities who borrow on a tax-exempt basis.
Participants will:
- Understand the changes to certain IRS forms required when issuing tax-exempt debt.
- Understand the tax implications relating to the discontinuation of LIBOR, including what circumstances may lead to a reissuance for tax purposes.
- Understand the general post-issuance compliance basics relating to tax-exempt debt.
- Have a better understanding of the current IRS enforcement program relating to tax-exempt bonds and learn from recent examples of IRS audits of tax-exempt bonds.
